Watch for Little Rancheria Caribou Herds

The good pavement is able to change

Construction...loose grave...extreme dust...

Be prepared to stop

Looks like a lonely ride

The Cassiar Mountains are coming into view

Dark cloud ahead

Oh my and look at all the traffic

Just us on the road at times

Not one animal today

Well, we did see some rabbits

BC for the next 42 miles

Hill coming up with sharp curves

There isn't any homes out here

No towns

100 miles in 2 hours and 33 minutes

What do we see

Another lonely bicycle rider

We learn that water in the streams west of here eventually finds
its way to the Yukon and empties into the Pacific Ocean

To the east, water drains into the Mackenzie River, flowing north
for thousands of miles to the Arctic Ocean

Most of the old lodges are closed today

Pretty clouds

Down the road we go

 Coming into Teslin

Prepare to cross the longest bridge on the Alaska Hwy

Nisutlin Bay Bridge

 George Johnston Museum

Captain has found a spot to park

1928  Chevrolet that was brought to Teslin by paddleboat
This was before they had the Alaska Hwy

Now that is a Grizzly Bear

More construction....more loose gravel

Follow Me

averages 2 miles across, and has an average depth of 194 feet

  1. Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! Chip and Oil? Ugh. I'm thinking the construction crew is about as unhappy to see you and you are to see them! ha! Love the pilot car. Hat
