Day 21....2,499 miles into our trip to ALASKA....late start because we wanted to visit Fort Nelson Heritage Museum. This is one of the most impressive collections of antique cars in BC . Marl Brown, founder and curator of the museum, keeps many of the vehicles in working condition, including a 1908 Buick, which he drove to Whitehorse in June, 2008. Marl is 83 turning 84 and has worked 12 hour days at the museum until last year. We met him at 10 AM as he was opening the doors to his Car Garage. Marl showed Rik his car collection and yes I could have packed Rik a lunch and he would have stayed all day.

We arrived around 2:30 PM and got the last pull-thru site. By evening the sites were full and most of the cabins had vehicles in front. Chili Mac at home so the blogger could post and the Captain could watch his favorite Western movies on TV. No news channels on their Satellite RV.
