We arrived in Kenai Day 45 and will use this as our home base while we check out the Peninsula.
We have had rain and fog and without the sunshine you see very little of the mountain ranges. We have also found out that fishing on your own may be difficult because of the rules for when, where and how you can fish. Think we are going to have to sign up with a guide so that we are not looking at fines and being somewhere....where only those from ALASKA can fish. Captain has been studying the reg booklet. Big run of salmon due next week.
Having fun.....seeing lots and driving all the side roads but without the mountains in the background my pictures haven't been exciting.
