Time to move on down the road as they say......Day 104 of our Alaska Adventure....53 degrees this morning...
Orange bus with over 12 people coming and going
They were camping.....never seen a bus like this one
Walmart is in the mall in Prince Rupert
Center for the Arts...beautiful building

Prince Rupert is known as "Gateway to Alaska" waterway
This section of the Yellowhead Highway was built along the Skeena River
The Yellowhead Highway 16 is 902 miles long
from Prince Rupert BC to Edmonton AB
Some 833 miles had to be blasted from solid rock
beautiful scenery....lots of ferns along the highway
We are at low tide on the Skeena River
lush rainforest
each curve has a different view
the drive from Prince Rupert to Terrace with the coastal mountains
the drive from Terrace to Houston is quite different
We are starting to see more color
Cariboo Mountains
forestry and mining is major
warmer and drier weather
We drop into farm country
agriculture is major in this area
Hay fields along the road
Shady Rest RV Park was one of the nicest parks we have visited
tubular begonias that she has had for 20 years
We are at 7,593 miles into our adventure. We still do not have cell service but were able to use the campground Wi-Fi
